About the webmaster:
My name is Josh Baumann.  I started this website because I love school buses (of course)!  I think they are the most fantastic vehicles on the road. Since 1997, I have had the privilege of being a school bus driver for a district in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.  My wife works in the same district as an assistant on a special needs school bus, and my mother-in-law is also a school bus driver.  For us, it's a family affair!  I currently work in the transportation office as Route Coordinator... I am in charge of creating and maintaining all the district's computerized bus route information.  With over 150 routes transporting over 15,000 students daily (in total, our buses rack up over 2 million miles per year), routing is a full time job!  However, I still get to drive routes several times a week (the office staff fills in as sub drivers).

About the website:
I've always enjoyed seeing different types of school buses, and there are many good sites on the internet with school bus photos.  However, many of them have pictures of only the outsides of buses.  A true school bus enthusiast wants to see the inside of the bus, too!  This website features high-quality photos of both the outside and inside of the buses, to give you a driver's-eye perspective of each bus!  And the photos are high resolution to show you all the fascinating details of each bus.

Submission Information:
I welcome photo submissions to the School Bus Gallery.  I only ask that the images be of good quality (preferably 640x480 resolution or higher), and that they show both the exterior and interior of the bus.  Email me at bus73@schoolbus.lunarpages.com if you are interested in submitting photos.  Any drivers out there with digital cameras?  Take some great pictures of your bus!  If you like what you see here, help me keep the updates coming.
